The EUROPEADA is the European football championship of the autochthonous national minorities, which is organized by the FUEN in collaboration with the minority hosting the respective tournament.
The first Europeada took place in the run-up to the 2008 UEFA European Championship with the Romansh people in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. The Sorbs in Upper Lusatia in Saxony hosted the second Europeada 2012, parallel to the 2012 European Football Championship. The third Europeada took place in South Tyrol in 2016, the fourth in Carinthia in 2022 after being postponed several times due to corona.
The 2024 tournament will take place from June 28th. to July 7, 2024, parallel to the 2024 European Football Championship in the German-Danish border region in Northern and Southern Schleswig.
